Meet Cameron, founder & lead designer
Hi, I’m Cameron! I’m the owner & founder of Geaux Beyond Travel, a Virtuoso agency & affiliate of Departure Lounge.
I’ve spent most of the last decade traveling and have now visited over 35+ countries. I’ve experienced a lot first hand—- I’ve chased the sunset in Santorini, floated the Dead Sea, rode a camel in Egypt, saw the northern lights in Norway, got engaged at London Tower Bridge, snorkeled in Turks & Caicos, & hiked Machu Picchu. Each memory has only contributed to my love for travel.
One of my favorite things about traveling other than seeing the sights, is experiencing the culture. Although a Tennessee native, I lived in Louisiana for 8 years during college and after. Here is where my love of exploring new cultures began. The name “geaux” comes from the Cajun Louisiana spelling of “go”. It seems only fitting to incorporate “geaux” into my business as I’m constantly on the go.
My husband is active duty Air Force and his job took us to the United Kingdom for a 3 year assignment. I can truly say this is where travel became my passion and ultimately led me to my dream job. We traveled all over Europe and have been on the move ever since. We currently call Hawaii home with our two young children.

Favorite travel memory:
1. Honeymoon to Santorini - I'll never forget drinking wine while chasing the sunset on a catamaran. We loved the views, food, and waking up to the caldera everyday. Santorini truly was a dream.
2. Camping in the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan. The bedouins graciously opened their arms and showed us a great time. It was nice being off the grid for a couple days and enjoying the peacefulness of the desert.
Current Obsession:
Japan! There is so much demand for travel right now. We went as a family in May 2024 and had the best time exploring Tokyo, Kyoto & Osaka.
A place people need to put on their bucket list:
Tel Aviv, Israel is a city that truly captured my heart! Out of all the places I've traveled, I could imagine living in Tel Aviv someday. The weather is wonderful year round, the food is out of this world, and there is so much history. Not to mention you are so close to Jerusalem, Bethlehem & the Dead Sea.
Where are you looking forward to traveling:
South Africa has always been on my bucket list. It’s quickly becoming one of my top selling destinations outside of Europe so I’m hoping to experience it first hand sooner than later.
Meet Sally, lead coordinator
Hi, I’m Sally! Originally a San Francisco Bay Area native I currently live in Florida with my husband and young son. From the get-go travel has always been a passion of mine, I always had the dream as a child to live overseas and explore the world. Little did I know that dream of mine would come true.
I had the opportunity to live in England for three years with my husband which was an incredible experience. I was able to embark on exciting adventures throughout Europe, exploring historic cities and soaking in the beauty of the different landscapes.
As our time in England came to an end the adventure continued. We moved to Okinawa, Japan and called the small island home for five years. Living in Japan sparked my love for Asian culture and its warm and hospitable people. The island’s vibrant atmosphere and unique traditions left a lasting impression on me. Okinawa will always have a special place in my heart as it was where my son was born.
Having spent an extended time overseas, I’ve had the opportunity to visit over 30 countries, each offering its own array of experiences and memories that have enriched my perspective on the world. I thoroughly enjoy meeting locals, immersing myself in the local culture, learning the history of each destination and of course trying the local cuisine.
My love for travel and the experiences I’ve had fuels me to be able to share that with others. Learning first-hand how others live is truly an eye-opening experience and one that everyone should have.
