Turks and Caicos
Imagine this: You wake up at 4 am to catch a flight to Turks & Caicos. You are questioning this early morning wake up call until you look out your window from 20,000 feet above. You see some of the bluest blues you have ever seen…*insert immediate mood swing.*
I was invited on an educational trip to Turks & Caicos and got to enjoy a split stay at The Palms and The Shore Club. Turks & Caicos is a group of approximately 40 islands and cays that make up two groups - Turks Islands and Caicos Islands. It’s located just southeast of the Bahamas and what I like to call “a little slice of paradise.”
During my time on the island, I was able to fully immerse myself in each hotel. I was able to experience the highly rated 25,000 square-foot spa at The Palms, enjoy multiple dining outlets, go on a boat cruise and soak up the sun at the pools and beaches of each property.
To kick start the trip, I checked into The Palms. The resort is situated on 12 acres of Grace Bay beach in Turks that has pristine white sand. This beach in particular is consistently ranked among the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world. I was placed in a Jr. Suite Ocean View. The room was spacious enough for a family with a full kitchen, balcony, laundry and pull out sofa.
Highlights of my time at The Palms: Beach dinner, massage at the spa and walking the beautiful beach staring out into the turquoise waters.

The next stop on the trip was The Shore Club known for its “balance of well-being and indulgence.” The rooms give off that immediate “wow factor” that almost makes you never want to leave. However, there’s pools to enjoy and water sports to take advantage of so time spent in the room is minimal. The villa product at The Shore Club is 5* and great for families and friend groups. I stayed in the oceanfront one bedroom suite with a study - this is a great bonus room for those with kids.
Highlights of my time at The Shore Club: Cocktail class, all the dining outlets, and relaxing at the pool
VIP Perks & Amenities when you book with us include: Daily complimentary breakfast, $100 resort credits, room upgrades, early check in and late check out.
We were also encouraged to get off property and site other 4-5* hotels. A couple that I checked out included Rockhouse, Grace Bay Club, Seven Stars and The Ritz Carlton. I truly believe there’s not a one size fits all when it comes to hotels. It’s my job to continually educate myself, so that I’m able to better place clients. I can honestly say it is one of my favorite parts of the job as I get a thrill finding new gems for my clients where they can make memories that last a lifetime.
There’s still many properties left uncovered (and I’ll be back), but I was able to check out 6 total properties during my 4-day trip.
